The kit stays yours for life either way, and you can move between the Eleventy and Astro kits as often as you want.

You do, and both are small. Hosting is $20 a month and comes with SSL. The domain is yours to own, ten to fifteen dollars a year, paid to the registrar rather than to us, and we'll register it and set up the DNS if you'd rather not. On the fully managed plan both are included in the monthly fee and we keep the domain renewed.
